Iraklis 1908 FC (Greek: Α.Ε.Π. Ηρακλής 1908 ΠΑΕ) or Iraklis FC, is a Greek football club, based in the city of Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece. Lastly, the team had played in the Superleague, the top tier of Greek football. Their home ground is the Kaftanzoglio Stadium with a capacity of 27,770.

Founded in 1908 as "Macedonikos Gymnasticos Syllogos" (Macedonian Gymnastics Club), they were one of the oldest in Greek football and the oldest in Thessaloniki, hence the nickname Ghireos (meaning the Elder). A year later, the name "Iraklis" (Heracles) was added to the club's name as an honour to the ancient Greek hero Heracles (or Hercules as the Roman equivalent). The team's colours were cyan or blue and white, inspired by the Greek flag. Iraklis was a founding member of Macedonia Football Clubs Association, as well as the Hellenic Football Federation, as a part of G.S. Iraklis.

Before the formation of the nationwide league of Alpha Ethniki, Iraklis competed in the league that was run by the Macedonia Football Clubs Association, winning it on no less than five occasions. The club had also played in five Greek Cup finals, lifting the trophy once in the 1976 final, which was the club's only domestic trophy. They had also an international title, as they won the Balkans Cup in 1985.

The club was dissolved in 2017, due to major financial issues.

Stadium or Home

Kaftanzoglio Stadium (Greek: Καυτανζόγλειο στάδιο) is a sports stadium in Thessaloniki, Greece. The stadium was built with money donated by the Kaftanzoglou Foundation, hence its name. At the time of its opening on 27 October 1960, the stadium was one of the highest quality stadiums in the Balkans. It currently has 27,770 seats, owing to a comprehensive renovation before reopening to host football matches for the 2004 Summer Olympics, which was centred in Athens. It was the largest stadium in Greece until 1982, but has since been surpassed in capacity by the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

It is the home football stadium of Iraklis Thessaloniki F.C. since 1960.

In 1971, the attendance record was set with 51,235 fans present for a A' Ethniki Greek Championship match, witnessing Iraklis Thessaloniki defeat Panathinaikos by a 1-0 score. In 1973 it hosted the European Cup Winners Cup Final, which resulted in a 1–0 victory for A.C. Milan over Leeds United.
