Hello,
This topic is about sharing your practical experiences.
We have a Event in TheSportsDB, but from one event, TV channels make 4 TV episodes!

Sport: Fighting
League: WWE
Additional events in TV broadcasts: Kickoff, Fallout, Pre-Show & Post-Show
Example image:

Normal:
- WWE 2013-01-27 Royal Rumble 2013.S2013E8.mp4

TV:
- WWE 2013-01-27 Royal Rumble 2013.S2013E8.mp4
- WWE 2013-01-27 Royal Rumble 2013.S2013E8 Kickoff.mp4
- WWE 2013-01-27 Royal Rumble 2013.S2013E8 Pre-Show.mp4
- WWE 2013-01-27 Royal Rumble 2013.S2013E8 Post-Show.mp4
- WWE 2013-01-27 Royal Rumble 2013.S2013E8 Fallout.mp4

This would allow developers to create episode summaries or individual episodes (create virtual additional episodes) in the multimedia system. It is a naming scheme that we need to define.

Similar to how you simply add "-Trailer" to the video file name for episodes for trailers.

=> With this information, developers can customize better scrapers and NFO files.
=> But we need the leagues and the respective practices of the TV stations.

Looking at it the other way, we don't have any problems. If you have a video that shows several events in one, you can use multi-episodes with the correct naming!
