Other previous names include Northern Trust Open and Nissan Open. Played annually in February at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, it is often the concluding event of the tour's "West Coast Swing" early in the calendar year, before the tour moves east to Florida. The tournament has been held at Riviera on a near-continuous basis since 1973. South Korea-based Hyundai Motor Group, through its Genesis Motors subsidiary, took over sponsorship in 2017, after nine seasons from Northern Trust Corporation, based in Chicago, following a 21-year sponsorship by Nissan Motors. Entertainer Glen Campbell was the celebrity host of the Los Angeles Open from 1971 to 1983. The event takes place Feb 18-21 and has a prize fund of $9,300,000 Max Homa, secures a playoff win at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades. Homa made a par on the second playoff hole, defeating Tony Finau, who was unable to make his par putt to extend the playoff. With the 550 FedExCup points from his second PGA win, Homa now moves up to No. 10 in the FedExCup standings. He is also now eligible for the World Golf Championships-Workday Championship at The Concession next week as well as the Masters. 1065783
