Announced by the PGA Tour in June 2018, the tournament debuted in 2019 on July 4–7. Minnesota-based company 3M is the title sponsor of the event. It succeeds the 3M Championship, a PGA Tour Champions event for 26 years (1993–2018), held at TPC Twin Cities since 2001. The event takes place Jul 22-25 and has a prize fund of $6,600,000 Cameron Champ fired five birdies in his bogey-free final round for a 65 to win by two shots at 15-under. This third PGA Tour title for Champ, following the 2018 Sanderson Farms Championship and the 2019 Safeway Open, is his first top-10 finish of the year, helped by the best putting performance in the field with 8.48 strokes gained. 1082752
