Davison, was a youth European gold and world silver medallist, but took a step back from the sport when she was 19 after becoming pregnant with her son Arnell, now aged eight.
The 27-year-old was the same age when she first started boxing. Initially, Davison was taught by her father, Mark, as her local gym wouldn’t accept girls - a decision they reversed a year later after seeing her talent.
Davison assumed her career was over after having Arnell, Armani, 6, and Amir, 4, but in 2018, she decided to give boxing another go and has already had success after winning -51kg silver medal at the European qualifiers in June.
