Il Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona, noto come RCD Espanyol o Espanyol, è una società calcistica spagnola con sede nella città di Barcellona. Milita nel La Liga del campionato spagnolo e disputa le partite interne nell'Estadi Cornellà-El Prat (40.500 spettatori). Anche se attualmente esiste soltanto la sezione calcistica, il club è formalmente una società polisportiva, avendo avuto in passato anche le sezioni di pallacanestro e hockey su pista.

Al 2019-2020 ha militato per 85 stagioni in Primera División ed è il quinto club spagnolo con più presenze nella massima serie del campionato nazionale. Il miglior risultato che ha ottenuto in tale competizione è il terzo posto, raggiunto quattro volte (1932-33, 1966-67, 1972-73 e 1986-87). Vanta nel proprio palmarès la conquista di 4 Coppe di Spagna (1928-29, 1940, 1999-2000 e 2005-06). Il club ha partecipato sette volte alla Coppa UEFA, raggiungendo la finale nelle edizioni 1987-88 e 2006-07 e perdendo, in entrambi i casi, il trofeo ai tiri di rigore.

RCDE Stadium, also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat (Spanish: Estadio Cornellà-El Prat ) is an all-seater football stadium on the outskirts of Cornellà de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat, in the wider Barcelona urban area (Catalonia, Spain). It took three years to build and cost approximately €60 million. Completed in the summer of 2009, it was awarded as Venue of the Year getting the Stadium Business Awards on 18 June 2010 in Dublin. The stadium has a capacity of 40,500. It is the new home of RCD Espanyol and replaced their previous stadium, the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. It is the eighth stadium in the club's history.
