It is primarily used for basketball (home of CAI Zaragoza) and handball (home of Caja3 Aragón).

The arena hosted the 1990 and 1995 FIBA Champions Cup Final Fours, as well as the 1999 Saporta cup final in which Benneton Treviso defeated Pamesa Valencia.

The arena frequently hosts rock bands, such as David Bowie and Depeche Mode.
