Houseman Racing began its BTCC adventure as Central Group Racing in 2010, fielding a Honda Integra in selected rounds for Lea Wood. A second partial season followed in 2011, as the team tallied its first points at Oulton Park prior to exchanging the Integra for a Vauxhall Vectra in 2012 and rebranding as BINZ Racing.
Wood was a regular points-scorer that year and secured his family-run outfit’s finest result to-date with fifth place at Oulton, but 2013 as Wheel Heaven/Houseman Racing was less successful and yielded just three points-paying results. The team will campaign a Toyota Avensis for Wood as Houseman Racing in 2014.
