The Cape Cobras (known as the World Sports Betting Cape Cobras for sponsorship purposes) are a franchise cricket team representing the Western Province and Boland areas in South African domestic cricket. The team's dual home venues are PPC Newlands, Cape Town and Boland Park, Paarl.
The Cobras play in the Sunfoil Cup, Momentum 1 Day Cup and Domestic T20 Challenge competitions, and are one of the most successful domestic sides in the modern era.
During the Momentum 1 Day Cup and CSA T20 Challenge, the Cobras will play in blue shirts and trousers with slight yellow accents as well as orange and blue kits to represent their sponsor's corporate colours. Their current kit provider is BAS. Their associate sponsor is local radio station Heart FM

It is the home of the Cape Cobras, who play in the Sunfoil Series, Momentum 1 Day Cup and RamSlam Pro20 competitions. It is also a venue for Test matches, ODIs and T20Is. Newlands is regarded as one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the world, being overlooked by Table Mountain and Devil's Peak. It is close to Newlands Stadium, which is a rugby union and football venue. The cricket ground opened in 1888.
20,195 people attended the first Big Bash cricket match at the Newlands Cricket Ground in 2016.
The ground's official name is "PPC Newlands" as of October 2015, acknowledging a commercial sponsorship arrangement. It is still often referred to by its historic name, simply "Newlands".
