The Massachusetts Pirates are a proposed professional indoor football team. A member of the National Arena League (NAL), the Pirates are set to begin play for the 2018 season. Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Pirates will play their home games at the DCU Center.
The Pirates will be the third indoor/arena team to call Worcester home, following the Massachusetts Marauders of the Arena Football League (1994) and the New England Surge of the Continental Indoor Football League (2007–2008)

The facility hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, family shows, conventions, trade-shows and meetings. It is owned by the City of Worcester and managed by SMG, a private management firm for public assembly facilities.
The naming rights were purchased in 2004 by Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU) and went into effect January 2005.
