Description
Day two of the Unibet European Championship produced a thriller between number 2 and 3 in the world rankings, Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright. Wright showed his World Champion class to defeat Price 10-6 in the second round as the pair both averaged over 100.
World number 12 Ian White booked his quarter-final spot in superb fashion with his first televised win over Van Gerwen, averaging almost 104.
Devon Petersen, also in a run of good form progressed to his first individual quarter-final since the 2015 UK Open with a win over Martijn Kleermaker, who defeated reigning champion Rob Cross in round one.
