Description
The Ascension Charity Classic is an official PGA TOUR Champions event. This 54-hole stroke play golf tournament features 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a $2 million purse at historic Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri. The event is designed to showcase the best golf on the PGA TOUR Champions for the enjoyment of spectators and to benefit local charities in the North St. Louis County area and beyond.
The event takes place Sep 10-12 and has a prize fund of $2,000,000.

Toms won the 54-hole tournament after taking a playoff against Dicky Pride, scoring a par 4 on the first playoff hole to pick up the win. Both players finished regulation on 10-under 203.
Woody Austin and Jay Haas finished tied for third place, a shot out of the playoff.
Toms won the $300,000 winner's share of the $2,000,000 purse.
