It took place on July 9, 2017 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It was the first event under the Great Balls of Fire chronology. It was named after the song of the same name, which was used as the event's official theme song as part of a settlement with Jerry Lee Lewis over copyright infringement. The name received mass criticism on social media.
