NFL 2021 schedule has errors

It appears that the local game times for the 2021 NFL season are off by an hour. For example, in Week 1 the Atlanta at Philadelphia game (https://www.thesportsdb.com/event/1134407) shows a local time of 14:00 (2 PM), but it actually starts at 13:00 (1 PM) local time.

Similarly, the Dallas at Tampa Bay game shows a local date of Friday, September 10, 2021 when the game is actually scheduled for Thursday, September 9th at 8:20 PM.

I'm new to using Sportsdb, so please let me know if I'm misinterpreting the data from your API.

Thanks,
Carl

Yep might well be the case, if you see some errors please do feel free to help out and fix them. Our site is all about our users editing data.

Any user can edit the event times just by clicking the "Edit Event" button while logged in.

UTC times should always be correct, so I would advise using that if you are a developer. Any local time can be worked out from it.

The UTC times for all the 2021 NFL games also appear to be incorrect. I found that the dates and times that appear in the fields dateEvent and strTime are for the London Timezone, which is 1 hour ahead of UTC.

I have corrected for this problem on my website, but the incorrect data should probably be corrected in the feed but doing so manually for 272 or so games is not something that I care to undertake. I suspect that this schedule data might have been loaded programatically.

Just checked this myself and can confirm that all UTC times before 31 October (UK DST change) are incorrectly set to BST times.

Also, times which cross two dates have their local time set to minus something.

I'll have a stab at correcting them, but it might require Zag to re-import them.

EDIT: I think I've updated all UTC and local times correctly, I've given it a rough check and I believe they should all be accurate now.

Nice! Thanks for fixing curswine. Those daylight saving hours always mess it up somehow
