I see we now have stadium coordinates for certain stadiums. Is this exposed over any of the API endpoints?

I can't see it on the lookup/team/ v2 endpoint for example.

Thanks!

Yeh I have an idea to have a map as well at some point from those co-ordinates.

Can we please standardise them?

I prefer the decimal version (e.g. 53.543333, 49.303333)

- They don't require any strange characters
- You can Ctrl+Right Click on Google maps to copy them to clipboard
- They can also be obtained from Wikipedia following the GeoHack link https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?pagename=Lada_Arena¶ms=53_32_36_N_49_18_12_E_region:RU_type:landmark_source:kolossus-ruwiki
- They can be used to calculate distance between two points https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1w7eoyuEBo5rUpEfIxnYtog9stRe6r-Z5wQkXWVoP4lg/edit?usp=sharing

I always just copy and paste from wikipedia at the top right of the venue page. Interesting the different type can be found there, will try to check it out.

https://what3words.com/ would be cool as well I think.

What about using https://www.soccer-map.com? I'm currently working on some improvments based on your coordinates, thanks for that btw!

Wow is that all using TSDB data? That's incredible.

What format co-ordinates are best for you?

Yep

I prefer decimal formatted coordinates, since they are easier to use and don't produce rounding errors on transformation.
