Once I have the data, I'll work out the best way to upload Great, best thing to do is if you have CSV files or data dumps is to join our discord channel - https://discord.gg/pFvgaXV. There are lots of us in there importing batch data all the time and we have various methods Just remember the team names must match perfectly and using standard UTC dates and times like this YYYY-MM-DD is the easiest to import. | ||

Posts: 2 Joined: 2024 | I want to help update the Australian Football Section by improving the history section and by adding some of the historic side-competition stuff like the Pre-Season Competition/Night Series knock-out tournament (It was similar to what the NBA In-Season Tournament currently is.), Australian Football State of Origin, AFLX, International Rules (which is a combined game of Australian Football and Gaelic Football that allows players from both the AFL and GAA to have an International Rep Game) and the E.J. Whitten Legends Game. I also want to update the teamlists as they are several years out of date and many players and coaches have moved on. Including the Collingwood Coach Nathan Buckley who has since been replaced by Craig McRae and retired to work in the media with Fox Footy. I also noticed that the Fitzroy Football Club and the Brisbane Bears were missing as former teams as well as the both of them merged to become the Brisbane Lions after the 1996 season and they would be needed to be able to properly put in an archive along with awards like the AFL Premiership Cup, the Norm Smith Medal, the Brownlow Medal, the Coleman Medal, Jock McHale Medal, the AFL Rising Star, the All-Australian Team, the Australian Football Hall of Fame, Mark of the Year and Goal of the Year for starters. I know it's a big undertaking but for someone like me who has many classic matches in their archive including every Grand Final since 1965 and many classic games, It's something I'm willing to work on to at least every Grand Final that has had it's television footage survive have a page on the database while also cleaning up anything that needs to be brought up to scratch datawise. I also want to upload historic logos so that the league and each team is period correct in that season. I'm not the best when it comes to photoshop but I can at least try my best to get things looking as best as I can. | ||

Posts: 2 Joined: 2024 | I can also help out a little bit with Australian Motorsport like Supercars and maybe give the Bathurst 1000 a section of it's own as it was a non-championship race for so long and is kinda a marque event on it's own that people might want to put those races in it's own section instead. (I know I've done that.) Plus, I can help out a little bit with the Rugby League too by getting the NRL State of Origin page set up along with some of the predecessors of the NRL like the NSWRL, ARL and Super League (Australia) set up as all the awards and teams are from this lineage and the NRL itself is considered the continuation of it. | ||
