 Posts: 363 Joined: 2020 | Recently been updating Scottish Premiership Teams, noticed that after teams have been updated player duplicates are being added, eg, https://www.thesportsdb.com/team/133646-Hibernian, ? | ||

 Posts: 935 Joined: 2020 | I imagine the ID has not been input and then they've had their lineups synced the players have shown as not being in the database and been auto-imported. Please try and add IDs when manually adding players. I'll try and clean up the Hibs team. | ||

Posts: 25 Joined: 2024 | Please consider adding "Practice Squad" as a status for American football NFL players. This is a real status for players under contract to a team but not on the playing roster. Teams can "poach" a player from another team's practice squad but the player must then be guaranteed a roster spot and salary for at least three weeks for the new team. | ||

Assume you mean ,API Football ID: , if so the option seems to be blanked out. Yeh any new players should have an API football ID. You can get it by syncing any lineup, timeline or team. I regularly add ID's if people are adding players manually. But sometimes there are dupes. | ||

Posts: 935 Joined: 2020 | Can someone tell me how to prevent this next time and how I can clean up my own mess? Try and make sure each player has a value in the API Football ID: field, these are the numbers that display when you sync a team. | ||

Best thing to do is sync the lineup or timeline and find those player ID's in brackets. Copy them into each player "API Football ID" that you have added manually. This will then sycn in fututure Moderators can auto add these players as well, but I don't think normal users can. Assuming you stick around, I could make you a moderator in the future  | ||

If you find more teams like Feyenoord where there are a lot of players, just post the team name and I should be able to work out which the duplicates are. bANAAN | ||
