| | Hey, for American Football positions we are missing "Inside Linebacker". Is anyone able to add that? Right now there is only "Middle Linebacker" and "Outside Linebacker". Thanks in advance

| | Sure all fixed.
Let me know if there are any other positions missing. I can always add more.

| | Awesome thanks Zag. Another question. If I wanted to make a free iOS app displaying basic player data and player & team images, would it get taken down without the permission of the NFL or NBA for example? Or is The SportsDB already address permission issues and we can use the data however we want (as long as it's for free and not for profit)? I ask because we use the team logos, names of players etc. Thanks in advance

| | There are many apps already using the data and artwork, but it all depends.
We try to keep the trademarks on the logos etc to comply with licensing. Many are even drawn by our own users such as banners or text logos or player cutout images.
The biggest issue I think is the player photos or team fanart, but one day I hope to change them all to Creative Commons images. We just need better images of players for that to happen as many wikipedia/wikimedia photos are poor quality at the moment. It is improving though.
As for our license, any data here we create is creative commons, and we will always take down anything that copyright holders notify us about.

| | Awesome, thank you. For player photos I've been using google, most are Bleacher Report images due to the good quality and player coverage so hopefully, it won't be too much of a problem. Do you have a preferred source of getting player images or is what I'm doing fine via Google images?

| | Yeh google images here as well, if you see the magnifying glass icon it will auto search large images with one click usually. That's what I do or grab them from Wikipedia page.
