Jordi Torres Fernández (born August 27, 1987) is a Spanish motorcycle racer. He is a two-time winner of the Spanish Moto2 championship, and has previously competed in his native Supersport and Stock Extreme championships. He is best known for winning the 2013 German Grand Prix, in the Moto2 class; having qualified in a career-best second place, Torres overtook long-time race leader Pol Espargaró with ten laps remaining, and held on to win the race, his first Grand Prix podium. Since 2015 he competes in the Superbike World Championship.
In 2015 the 30 year old took the leap over into the World Superbike paddock with Red Devils Aprilia. Settling in well in the championship, he was able to secure rookie of the year and a top five championship position. He ended his first season in WorldSBK on a high, as he took his first victory in Race 1 at Qatar. Heading into 2016 Torres joined the Althea BMW Racing Team, and has now spent two seasons on board the BMW S1000 RR. Taking the time to learn and understand the bike and machine, he was unable to increase his podium tally. With a P6 in 2017 and a P9 overall.
