Joshua Allen (born May 21, 1996) is an American football quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wyoming. Despite receiving few offers out of high school and having to play one year at a junior college, Allen was eventually recruited to Wyoming, where he led the Cowboys to a Mountain West Conference division title and two bowl games. He was drafted by the Bills in the first round (7th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft, becoming the highest drafted quarterback in franchise history.
Known for his powerful arm strength when passing the ball, Allen has also emerged as one of the top mobile quarterbacks in the NFL, breaking several quarterback rushing records during his rookie season.

Allen has been in a relationship for at least four years with former Fresno State Bulldogs cheerleader and current Pilates instructor, Brittany Williams, whom he grew up with in their hometown of Firebaugh, California.
In December 2017, Allen graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's degree in social science.
