Jeimer Candelario (born November 24, 1993) is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, and Washington Nationals. He has played for the Dominican Republic national baseball team.
Candelario signed with the Chicago Cubs in September 2010. He made his professional debut the next year with the Dominican Summer League Cubs. The Cubs promoted Candelario to the major league team on July 3, 2016, he made his major-league debut the same day, against the New York Mets.
Candelario made his MLB debut July 3, 2016, for the Chicago Cubs.
