Joshua Evan Bell (born August 14, 1992) is an American professional baseball first baseman. He has previously played in MLB for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals, San Diego Padres, and Cleveland Guardians.
Drafted in the second round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, Bell received a $5 million signing bonus, a record for a player outside of the first round, to bypass his college baseball scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin. His first career home run was a grand slam. First career hit was off of Jake Arietta of the Chicago Cubs in 2016.
Bell made his MLB debut July 8, 2016, for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
On July 30, 2024, the Miami Marlins traded Bell to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for cash considerations or a player to be named later.
