Fidel Henderson Edwards (born 6 February 1982) is a West Indian cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. A pace bowler, his round-arm action "not unlike" that of former fast bowler Jeff Thomson.
Having taken more than 165 test wickets and 350 first-class scalps in total in his career, Edwards is known for his express pace and wicket-taking ability.
He burst onto the scene after being spotted in the nets by Brian Lara, and the fast-bowler made his test debut after playing just one domestic game for his native Barbados.
Edwards continued to enjoy an impressive international career, and proved to be a particular nemesis of England during several encounters, before moving away from international crikcket and eventually signing for Hampshire in 2015.
