Young Japanese rider Tatsuki Suzuki made his Grand Prix debut in 2015, riding for the CIP team on the ever-improving Mahindra alongside fellow new recruit Remy Gardner. Suzuki raced in regional championships in his native Japan before making the move to Europe to ride in the FIM CEV Repsol series. His performances were good enough to earn him a World Championship seat for 2015 and 2016. For 2017, he changed to the new SIC58 Squadra Corse and took some solid results, before taking a step forward in 2018, in the top five and fighting at the front. He'll be aiming for the podium in 2019 with the same team.
