Ben entered racing in 2015 with only a half a season of karting experience under his belt. Jumping into the Brian Graham Racing Formula 1600 car meant a steep learning curve for Ben but he took to the challenge easily earning both the Toyo Tires F1600 Ontario Series Rookie of the Year award and the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) Best New Driver Award. He earned his first podium last July at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park during the BARC Grand Prix of Ontario. He finished up last season in 4th place overall in the ‘A’ Class Championship (Ontario) and in 9th place in the Ontario and Quebec Super Series.
The 2018 season was a season of many changes for Ben as he took his racing career across the 'pond' to contest the BRDC British F3 Championship with Hillspeed Racing Team in the UK. Ben finished this BRDC British F3 season in 16th with 137 points. In 2019, Ben made the switch to GT Racing.
