Stephen John Perryman MBE (born 21 December 1951) is an English former professional footballer who is most famous for his successes with Tottenham Hotspur during the 1970s and early 1980s. Perryman was voted Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year in 1982 and made a club record 854 first team appearances for Tottenham. He was the director of football at Exeter City from 2003 until his temporary retirement in March 2018. He is currently an associate director at MK Dons, having come out of retirement to join former Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale at the club.
