Gavin Sheets (born April 23, 1996) is an American professional baseball first baseman for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.
Sheets made his MLB debut that day as the starting right fielder against the Minnesota Twins. In the game, Sheets recorded his first major league hit — a single to left field — off Kenta Maeda of the Minnesota Twins. In that same game, he recorded his first major league RBI, his first extra base hit, and scored his first major league run off of Maeda. On June 30, he hit his first major league home run off of Matt Shoemaker.[
