L'Unione Sportiva Pistoiese 1921, meglio nota come Pistoiese, è una società calcistica italiana con sede nella città di Pistoia. Milita in Serie C, la terza divisione del campionato italiano.

Il primo club cittadino venne fondato nel dicembre 1921 con il nome di Unione Sportiva Pistoiese, e fu poi rifondato nel 1937 con la denominazione di Associazione Calcio Pistoia e nel 1945 ricostituito con la vecchia denominazione. Nel 1988 la società venne rifondata con il nome di Associazione Calcio Nuova Pistoiese 1988 e nel 2009 con il nome di Unione Sportiva Pistoiese 1921.

Ha disputato un campionato in Serie A nel 1980-1981, e assieme a Carpi e Treviso è una delle tre squadre che finora hanno disputato solo un’edizione del massimo campionato professionistico dall'inizio del girone unico nel 1929.

Disputa le sue partite casalinghe allo stadio Marcello Melani. Il colore sociale è l'arancione.

Stadio Marcello Melani is the main stadium in Pistoia, Italy. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of U.S. Pistoiese 1921. The stadium holds 13,195.

History
The Stadio Comunale di Pistoia was opened 25 June 1966 with a friendly match between Pistoiese and Vasco de Gama (1-2).

Previously Pistoiese played in the little stadium "Monteoliveto", where about 600 official matches were played.

On 6 December 2006, the Stadio Comunale was dedicated to Marcello Melani, president of Pistoiese from 1974 to 1984. During his presidency Pistoiese earned the club's only promotion to Serie A in its history.
