Pirtek Racing is run by the Eurotech Racing squad that celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2013 with it’s first outright BTCC driver’s title. The team is managed by Mike Jordan, who raced for the team in 2006, with his son Andrew driving alongside for the first time in 2008. After a season driving for the factory Vauxhall VX Racing squad in 2009, Andrew returned to the team in 2010.
2010 also saw Pirtek come on board as title sponsor, and with this backing the team has risen to championship-winning stature over the past three seasons. Independent teams’ and drivers’ champions in 2012, Andrew Jordan and the Pirtek Racing team went one better in 2013 to clinch one of the most exciting BTCC titles to date. The team returns in 2014 with Jordan and returning driver Martin Depper.
