Formerly Ciceley Racing, WIX Filters take over title sponsorship of the family-run team that was new to the BTCC in 2013. Russell Morgan manages the team that in 2013 ran his son Adam in an NGTC Toyota Avensis. Adam had raced in the 2012 season having won the Ginetta GT Supercup the year before. 2013 saw the team go from strength to strength, with the Toyota consistently scoring top six results.
With a maiden podium at its home event at Oulton Park, WIX Racing has attracted a lot of attention in 2013, and for 2014 is making a switch to drive a brand new Mercedes A Class, bringing the marque back to the BTCC for the first time since the 1980’s.
