Since 2006, Audi Sport and Phoenix Racing have been partners in DTM. In this period of time, the squad of Ernst Moser has firmly established itself as an institution on the DTM grid. In the past five years, Phoenix Racing won two DTM Drivers’ Championships and four times in this period of time, Phoenix Racing drivers were the best-placed Audi drivers in the championship. The committed squad around Team Principal Ernst Moser, that is based right at the Nürburgring, is one of the most experienced DTM teams and also is an important Audi partner when it comes to GT racing: Phoenix Racing is one of the two teams to run and prepare the new Audi R8 LMS for the delivery to the customers on behalf of Audi Sport customer racing, this year.
