Description Available in:
The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Triple-A West and the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Tacoma, Washington, and play their home games at Cheney Stadium, which opened in 1960. Tacoma competed in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) from 1960 to 2020 before joing the Triple-A West as a part of Major League Baseball's restructuring of Minor League Baseball in 2021. They operated under several monikers before becoming the Rainiers in 1995.

They won the PCL championship five times (1961, 1969, 1978, 2001, and 2010).
