Description Available in: Chicago FC United is an American soccer club based in the Chicago region. The team currently plays in USL League Two, the fourth-tier of American soccer. The club plays at Bridgeview Sports Dome adjacent to SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.
The club was founded in 2003 as youth academy. They formed a partnership with MLS club Chicago Fire FC in 2014. They also are affiliated with several local Chicago clubs who each run youth teams under their own names, but part of the FC United Development program.
In 2017, they added a team in the PDL, now the USL League Two, replacing the departing Chicago Fire Premier, after the Fire decided to relinquish their ties to the PDL.
