Círculo Deportivo de Comandante Nicanor Otamendi is a social, cultural and sports institution belonging to the town of Comandante Nicanor Otamendi of the General Alvarado party , in the interior of the Province of Buenos Aires , Argentina , whose main activity is soccer . Its headquarters are located in Bolívar 146, while the Sports Field is located in San Martín 62.
It was founded on December 23, 1921 as Círculo Sportivo. In 1948, by government decree, it changed to its current name. 1
In other times he had the sports discipline of Bochas, on October 12, 1947, 2 he received in his Club, the first Bocce team of the Boca Juniors Athletic Club. Where they played a series of friendly matches.
It has the privilege of being the only club from Alvarado's party that has participated in the National Tournament of the First Division of Argentina . In the 2 editions he played, despite being quickly eliminated, he had 2 wins and 5 draws, one of the latter against San Lorenzo de Almagro in the old Gasometer.
By winning the 2019 Federal Amateur Regional Tournament , he was promoted to the Federal A Tournament .
He qualified for the Argentine Cup for the first time in the 2019-20 edition . 3
