Description Available in: The California Redwoods, formerly known as Redwoods Lacrosse Club, is a professional men's field lacrosse team in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). The Redwoods are one of the six founding members of the PLL, having began play in the 2019 season. Following the assignment of home markets ahead of the 2024 season, they were rebranded as the California Redwoods. On January 1, 2024, the PLL revealed the Redwoods would host their homecoming weekend in San Diego at Torero Stadium. San Diego hosted the 2023 World Lacrosse Championship, with Torero Stadium one of the tournament's venues.
