Play on YouTubeDescription The 2020 European Darts Grand Prix will be the third PDC European Tour event on the 2020 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament will take place at the Glaspalast, Sindelfingen, Germany from 16–18 October 2020. It will feature a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner.
The tournament was postponed from its original date of 20–22 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany.
Belgian Darts Championship winner Gerwyn Price took on German Darts Championship winner Devon Petersen in a rematch of their tie in Hildesheim, and took a 6-2 victory on this occasion.
World number one Van Gerwen opened his challenge in Sindelfingen with a 6-1 win over Mervyn King, while Unibet Premier League winner Glen Durrant came from 3-2 down against Nico Kurz to win 6-3.
