The tournament will take place at the Glaspalast, Sindelfingen, Germany from 16–18 October 2020. It will feature a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner.
The tournament was postponed from its original date of 20–22 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany.
Jose De Sousa produced the performance of his career to claim his first European Tour title with an 8-4 defeat of Michael van Gerwen in Sunday's European Darts Grand Prix final.
The Portugese star lived up to his "Special One" nickname by going all the way in only his third appearance on the European Tour since joining the circuit full-time in 2019.
