Description

Mario Cazares will fight for the WBA super middleweight belt against his monarch, Cuban David Morrell. The Mexican will try to concede the first defeat to his rival, keep the scepter and show that he can fight Canelo Álvarez again.

Mexico's Cazares earned the opportunity to fight for the title after defeating Julio César Chávez Jr by decision in September of last year. The 30-year-old boxer enters the contest with a 12-0 streak, of which 5 were via knockout.
