Video Highlights Description The 2022 German Masters (officially the 2022 BildBet German Masters) is a professional ranking snooker tournament that will take place from 26 to 30 January 2022 at the Tempodrom in Berlin, Germany. The tournament will be the ninth ranking event of the 2021–22 snooker season and will be the 16th edition of the German Masters, first held in 1995 as the 1995 German Open. The event will feature a prize fund of £400,000 with £80,000 being given to the winner.
Judd Trump is the defending champion after defeating Jack Lisowski in the 2021 final.
All players had to win two qualifying matches in Cannock, England, to earn a place in the final stages, and ten of the world’s top 16 made it through to Berlin.
World number one Trump is aiming for his third consecutive title in this event having lifted the trophy in 2020 and 2021.
