The race was held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) permanent asphalt quad-oval shaped intermediate speedway. The race took the scheduled 167 laps to complete. Kyle Busch, driving for Spire Motorsports, would take advantage of the lead on the final restart, and held off a fast charge from Corey Heim in the final few laps to earn his 66th career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win, and his second of the season. Busch would also win the race in dominating fashion, winning both stages and leading a race-high 112 laps. With his win, he ties Todd Bodine for the most Truck Series wins at Texas Motor Speedway with six. To fill out the podium, Nick Sanchez, driving for Rev Racing, would finish 3rd, respectively.
