Tyler Reddick and the No. 45 23XI Racing team authored a "Darlington Masterclass," overcoming a mountain of technical issues to win the 2026 Goodyear 400. Despite starting on the pole, Reddick’s day nearly derailed early due to a malfunctioning alternator and a battery change that relegated him to the back of the pack. To make matters worse, a cool-suit failure left him battling the South Carolina heat without relief. However, Reddick systematically carved through the field, erasing a seven-second deficit to pass Brad Keselowski with 28 laps remaining and eventually winning by a commanding 5.847 seconds.

Brad Keselowski dominated the middle portions of the event, sweeping both Stage 1 and Stage 2 and leading a race-high 142 laps. However, the RFK Racing owner-driver was unable to hold off Reddick’s "rocket" in the final stint, ultimately finishing in second place. Ryan Blaney crossed the line in third, followed by a surging Carson Hocevar, who secured a career-best fourth-place finish. Austin Cindric rounded out the top five. The race was marked by its uncharacteristic lack of "mayhem," featuring only four cautions—though one involved a multi-car incident with Denny Hamlin, Erik Jones, and Bubba Wallace on Lap 111.
