Video Highlights

Description
The Honda Indy Toronto is an annual IndyCar Series race, held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Originally known as the Molson Indy Toronto, it was a Champ Car World Series race held annually from 1986 to 2007. The track has 11 turns, is a 2.874-kilometre (1.786 mi) street circuit, and is located at Exhibition Place. It is IndyCar's second-longest running street race, only behind the Grand Prix of Long Beach and the fourth oldest race on the current schedule in terms of number of races run.

Scott Dixon re-established himself as the driver to beat for the Verizon IndyCar Series championship and furthered his Indy car legacy by winning the Honda Indy Toronto on Sunday. Dixon, in the No. 9 PNC Bank Honda, finished 5.2701 seconds ahead of Simon Pagenaud in the No. 22 DXC Technology Team Penske Chevrolet. It gave Dixon the 44th victory of his Indy car career, ranking him third all time and eight behind Mario Andretti for second place.
Pole sitter Josef Newgarden led 25 laps but brushed the wall exiting Turn 11 on a Lap 33 restart and lost valuable time in the pits as the No. 1 Hitachi Team Penske Chevrolet crew checked the right side of his car for suspension damage. Newgarden finished ninth and remains second in the unofficial point standings behind Dixon.
