Description

The 3M Open is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, held at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Announced by the PGA Tour in June 2018, the tournament debuted in 2019 on July 4–7. Minnesota-based company 3M is the title sponsor of the event.
It succeeds the 3M Championship, a PGA Tour Champions event for 26 years (1993–2018), held at TPC Twin Cities since 2001.

Michael Thompson shot a five-under 66 to take a share of the lead with fellow American Richy Werenski after the second round of the 3M Open in Minnesota on Friday.
