Posts: 22 Joined: 2022 | Hello there ! I'm reviving this because I'm trying to work on a PSD with variables as you suggested curswine, to have posters generated automatically. I watched some videos about it, as I understand you need a PSD file + a text file with all the variables. My idea is simple: getting the country's flag in background + city name & year in text in front. I assume I'll have to give you both files, but I wonder is there a way to dynamically retrieve the city + year from the event before the poster is generated ? I could provide a file with all the countries and cities from the beginning of the world cup until now, but if there's a new city next year I don't know how to handle that automatically. I'm totally new to this so I'm probably missing something obvious, if you have any advice

The more experienced you are with Photoshop and using spreadsheets like Excel or Google Sheets the better results you can achieve. You can write a script that will pull the data from the API, but that shouldn't be necessary since that data is already in a spreadsheet. Post a draft image of what you're trying to create and I'll see how possible it is to do it for all events.

Here it is, very basic stuff: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j1KqkocMLgxqvKMn5m1bbtA6kc6op8vf/view?usp=share_link As I understand it I created 2 layers that should dynamically change with what I put in the Excel file. Could you tell me what it lacks to be usable please ? I'll try my best to complete it

Posts: 22 Joined: 2022 | I absolutely suck at these kind of artistic things, as you witnessed I'll see if I can motivate a friend to help me, otherwise no poster is ok. I'm also gonna start to fill the previous doc I linked here with past years in the coming days, I'll follow your examples and let you know when you can import. First edition was 1978, would you prefer to import everything at once or like 10 years by 10 years ?

Lets go with 10 years at a time, make sure the data is as detailed as possible.

Posts: 22 Joined: 2022 | Hey guys, I'm really sorry it took me SO long to finally have the patience to work on this, I know you created the league based on my assurance I would fill it quickly... But that's it, I want to make things square now I managed to create a to scrap the website https://biathlonresults.com/, the official results of the Biathlon events. The result is the following for the season 2023-2024: https://gofile.io/d/fk7u8v Is this formatting good for you guys ? The only thing that changes compared to what has already been added is the name of the events (eg. "4x6km Mixed Relay" becomes "4x6km Mixed Relay (W+M)"), and some city names (Östersund becomes Oestersund). It would be a lot easier to go back from scratch, since the scraping takes approximatively 30s for a season, but I would understand if you don't want to erase the seasons that's already been added and in that case I would work on converting the name of the races to what's already in here. One more time, sorry for the almost 2 years delay, I've been discouraged by the task for months until I really put my head in. If you need me to adapt some things, let me know ! But if it's good for you, I can provide a file with all seasons tomorrow. Thanks ! zag

Thanks Edit: I just realized there's an issue with the UTC and local date. I'll fix it tomorrow and give you the spreadsheet.

I added an 'S' to all the Men and Women events. I removed the (W+M) from the Mixed events. I think there are a few other things, but those are what I remember.

Posts: 22 Joined: 2022 | Alright, here's the file: https://gofile.io/d/0yFqWM Sadly for some races the time is probably false (no race starts at 1 in the morning), but I don't have any other source. I didn't add the first few seasons because some events were missing, I'll add them by hand later. Let me know if you need me to format things differently ! My apologies again for the delay, but it should be (almost) complete now
