my suggestion is to add new API call like thesportsdb.com/api/v1/json/{APIKEY}/searchshortteams.php?t={ShortTeamName} to search i.e. Tampa Bay Lightning by TBL term.
Also it will be cool to search by alternative names too

Yeah, but some short names looks wrong. See my file with stats https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
So i.e. Los Angeles Dodgers an't be found https://www.thesportsdb.com/api/v1/json/ ... ?sname=LAD
