I was wonder what is the proper way to write out the code on my addon once I have the script.module.thesportsdb in place for it to allow me to write it.. For example with imdb I write out the code

<dir>
<title>Action</title>
<tmdb>genre/movies/28</tmdb>
</dir>

So how would I put the code in for thesportsdb to pick up the different games and sports?? and also the API key that I have what file do I need to put it in to activate it, if it needs to be put in a certain file?

I don't think its possible yet, but I know @enen92 has been rewriting is thinking about writing a python scraper soon.

Maybe that will help!

Here is the source code, don't forget the sports module is not for scraping. It is supposed to be used as a module for other Add-ons to re-use

I downloaded the script.module.thesportsdb already.. I was just kind of clueless on what it was used for.. Is it mainly to help get like fanarts for what you already have on your addon and that's all?

It is used to make python programming very easy using our API and Kodi. Basically developers can easily build new plugins.

Its already used on a couple of other Add-ons. Think of it as a building block.

The scraper is probably what you are thinking of here:
