Hi,

I've a problem, i suppose time of each game is in UTC but when i convert into Toronto timezone, some time's games are wrong and some are correct.

Do you have an idea ?

I try whit NFL game : New York Jets @ Detroit Lions, i get 7:50pm after conversion but it's 7:10pm in fact.

Sorry for my english, i'm french

No problem, time zones are a bit up in the air at the moment.

There is no standard, and people are entering them both with UTC and local times zones. I really need to fix this just unsure what would be best. Perhaps a separate DB field for UTC time?

EDIT: NFL games are currently entered by the site users manually so can be anything really.

Has this been solved yet?
I see MLB and MLS's strTime is not correct.
For example, MLB's Houston Astros vs Texas Rangers's strTime is 01:10 (2019-05-11)
but it was actually started at 00:10.

All times are UTC +1 as we're currently on summer period

Yes unfortunately this is just a data thing. The source I imported MLB baseball from was a GMT timing which is a bit annoying I know for US users as sometimes the date can also be different.

You are welcome to go in and change the dates or times especially on US sports. But at the moment its probably best to use the GMT + 1 for the timezone.

I really need to work out hows best to do this, or find better data sources. NFL for example is all USA timezone as I entered that manually.

NOTE: I have introduced a new field in events called datetimeEventUTC for the future but at the moment it is unused. If anyone knows a source of event data that uses UTC times that would be great. So far I have not found it though.
