| | Hi Zag,
Here you can see a little change that I have done to add a new function to the main page called "Top events on TV today". For an easy find on the site of the major events that are broadcasted on the current date without needing to scroll all the main page and look through all the events, I have changed the way it's currently displaying the "Browse by Sports" section into icons and move them to the top of the page (see green icons) and substitute it by this new section. Also I have added "eSports" access which currently was missing.
"Top events on TV today" is based on the number of channels that are broadcasting an event, shorted from high to low and displaying the relative thumb art added to the event.
Using the info of today's events, it shoud look like this:

| | Yep I was thinking this as well, love the green icons I think that could work.
Can you help out with any green PNG icons at all? I can probably sort it out but it may take some time.
Good idea on the channel count as well! I think it would need the thumbnail artwork available, but I think that a lot already have this.

I'm currently adding thumbs for all events with 6 or more TV channels added to an event (weekend events) and with 3 for events during the week

No problem, a nice break in Southern Spain(Fuengirola) helped
Front page updated with concept suggestions. Let me know what you think.
I'm still trying to work out if the sizes and spacing are correct. Maybe I should change it back to 3 columns for the popular TV shows?
At the moment the only logic for a "popular" event is that it has an event thumb.

Once implemented these changes on the front page, I have some ideas about:
- Remove " Browse by Sports" section as the access can be done using the new icons and we will get more space on the front page.
- Sort out events in " Popular events on TV today" by number of broadcasting channels from more to less instead of by ID number as they are currently.
- I think that it'll be better to display it on 3 columns, in order to avoid big blank spaces between events with a huge nr of channels againts others with less.
- Limit the nr of displayed events to 15 (3 columns x 5 rows) or 16 (4 columns x 4 rows). This is specially thinking on weekend events as I add thumbs for every single event which have 6 or more TV channels during these days and this section will be maybe too big/long
