Appreciate you’re a little busy with the new api merge but just an idea I’ve had.
For football, I wondered it it’d be possible to add some more options to the round dropdown list such as QF, SF, Final, round of 16.
I’m currently working round this by adding a note in the event description but it’d be nice to not use this for stuff it’s not designed for!

| | Yeh I have been thinking about this recently as well. The round field is unfortunately an integer so can only contain numerical characters. Its also used for sorting so there is no real way to change that.
I'm open to ideas, but generally I think the current system of using Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 etc works quite well.
I just cleaned up the spanish Copa Del rey (although it is missing some events)

As the Spanish way is to say Round 32, Round 16 ect which wont sort properly. I've converted it to Round 3 and 4 and now it looks nicer
You can of course use the description to signify Quarter final or Semi final but Its not an ideal solution I know. Best I can think of at the moment!

I've made a quick attempt at this, it will currently work from the add event or edit event screen. If you scroll down you should see the options under round for Quarter, Semi and Final.

They are actually special round numbers (125,150,200) in the back-end just displayed like "Quarter", "Semi-Final", "Final" etc but it should do what we need.
