Hi Zag,

Due to the upcoming full implementation of the new importer which will add a lot of information to the main page, I have redisigned it into a condensed version grouping current "Match Centre YouTube Highlights", "LiveScores", "Popular events today", "Live events on TV today", "All Events Scheduled today" and "Latest Results" sections into just only one and adding some new cool features!

The new "Match Centre" section now has the ability to filter the info displayed by date, sport and league. So as shown on the image, currently we have filter by 8th of Februry (notice the color change against the other days) using the "Calendar Filter" (which also shows the total amount of events for that day) and it's displaying all events related to that date shorted by UTC time. Maybe we only want to see soccer events for that date, we can apply a second filter by clicking on the "Sports Filter" bar and then, only soccer events will be displayed. Maybe there are too many events yet (this will be easy with the new importer implementation) and we want to filter by a specific league; we will be able to do so applying a thir filter by using the "League Filter" bar.

The info displayed is "event date", "UTC time", "league badge", "league name", "event name", "event status", "TV guide availability", "event interest", "event result" and "highlights availability". As you can see, using this new info layout, we're now grouping 5 sections in only one place. Here some explanation for some mentioned fields which are displayed:

- "Event status": Shows if the event has ended, is live or it's not started yet (this last two displayed in red). This info is currently available for the ones that have livescores importer. For the ones that don't, it can be applied a rule that change status into ended 2 hours after the event started.

- "TV guide availability": Displays the TV icon only if a channel info is entered on the event. As an example, see that NBA events don't have this icon.

-"Event interest": Displays a half-star for each 3 channels added into the event.

-"Event result": Displayed finished results (in white) and live results (in red). Notice that results for non-team vs team events are also included which can be get by displaying only 1st position from "Result List" new field.

-"Highlights availability": Displays YouTube icon only if highlights link is already entered on the event page.

And finally, the "Popular events today" has been moved to the right into the "Featured Events" section which displays events with thumbs added to the event page and shorted by UTC time, instead of event ID.

Hope you like the concept and gets implemented! Any comments or requests will be welcome!

Nice! personally I think this might be better on a separate page rather than the front page.

Something like the match centre page.

I like all the info though.

I was thinking that could be better to implement it on the front page due to the huge number of events that will be displayed once gets implemented the new soccer importer, as I'm afraid that with the current structure, the front page could be too long for any easy user view

Yes this is definitely true as well, I will look at options for sure.
